Adopt a School

China is politically divided into tiers and levels according to geographic location and size. From central government in Beijing to the smallest rural villages in the countryside, there are a total of 6 levels. Public schools are free of tuition up to grade; however, this system is woefully underfunded, and  by the time government subsidies reach the rural villages there is little left. This results in a serious inequality of education and further increases the social gap between rural and urban areas of China.
